The diverter ensures a smooth passage of material with low energy consumption and has a quiet and smooth operation. The diverter’s robust and durable construction makes it suitable for indoor and outdoor installation. It is suitable for handling abrasive, fragile materials with different grain sizes. An oscillating tube mounted on two bearings and driven by a pneumatic piston allows automatic movement in any position. The inflatable gasket on the head of the oscillating tube is discharged when the tube changes position, while it inflates again after the tube has reached the desired position, verified by the presence of appropriate limit switches. The diverter is certified for an operating pressure of up to 6 bar and is available in 2- and 3-way versions and for sizes 2″ to 6″ with contact parts in carbon steel or AISI 304. Diverter valves are a recurring component in pneumatic conveying. Their use allows the product to be diverted from one line to several lines. Typically, the use is the loading of several destinations with one conveying line. The materials of construction vary according to the products handled, AISI304, AISI316, Aluminium, Cast Iron or Carbon Steel.
