Pressure booster AT 02

Made of polyamide, it consists of two interconnected parts. The booster body that functions to all intents and purposes as a non-return valve and the flow regulator that, thanks to a micrometric screw, allows precise adjustment. A booster is a device designed to make the passage of bulk materials inside a pipe homogenous when they are pneumatically conveyed. Designed for dense phase pneumatic conveying applications, it can also be used as an aid on dilute phase conveying lines and on silo loading lines when loaded by tanker. The boosters are installed on the material conveyor line and are fed by a parallel air line controlled by a dedicated pneumatic panel. Air is introduced into the booster through a supply manifold. When the air pressure in the transport line is lower than the air pressure in the manifold, it will flow through the booster unit into the conveying line. Once the pressure inside the conveying line has risen, the non-return valve in the booster closes, preventing air from passing into the conveying line.
