QuadSEAL filters are classified per UL Standard 900 for flammability. The filters consist of an embossed pleated synthetic media pack contained in cell sides made of molded foamed polyurethane with integral gasket sealing. Filter Frame The filter frame is made of molded foamed polyurethane. The frame is moisture, chemical and corrosion resistant. The frame is able to flex without damage. QuadSEAL Integrated Gasket The polyurethane frame incorporates a QuadSEAL integrated gasket on all four sides. Gasket is on the air leaving and perimeter of the frame and provides filter to holding frame seal to prevent bypass. The dual gasket ribs provide dual sealing protection. Embossed Media Pack The media is molded into a series of preformed channels that form the pleats. Beads of adhesive are applied to the media, bonding the pleats into a rigid, pack. The media pack is 100% potted in the foamed polyurethane frame, eliminating bypass. No additional sealants or adhesives are necessary.
