AKEMI® Multi Talent 2K-UHS Filler 4:1 is a high quality, low-solvent polyurethane coat based on acrylate hardened with isocyanate. The product is characterized by the following properties: - - complies with VOC guidelines 2004/42/EG (2004/42/2B(d)(420 - - excellent filling properties - - fast drying - - excellent adhesion and mechanical strength - - high solid contents - - easy and secure to apply - - excellent grindability - - outstanding maintenance of brightness AKEMI® Multi Talent 2K-UHS Filler 4:1 is mainly used on surfaces like e.g. iron, steel, galvanized steel and aluminum in the vehicle, wagon and industrial sector where high optical requirements are demanded on paintwork. 1. - Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from rust, oil and grease. - - steel surfaces: sand blasting according to standard degree of purity Sa 2!4 of EN ISO 12944 part 4: alternatively: hand derusting ST 3; grinding not mandatory. - - galvanized surfaces: clean with steam jet; sufficient grinding necessary, afterwards ammoniacal cleaning - - aluminium: clean thoroughly, remove foreign pollutions according to EN ISO 12944. 2. - Do not apply at object temperatures below +15°C. The optimum application temperature is between +18 and +25°C. The surface temperature must be at least 3°C above the dew point of the ambient air. 3. - Four parts by volume (6 parts by weight) of AKEMI8 Multi Talent 2K-UHS Filler 4:1 are thoroughly mixed with one part by volume (one part by weight) of AKEMI® Hardener for Multi Talent 2K-UHS Filler 4:1. Addition of Acrylic Dilution normal: max. 10-20%.
