Description
RW COUNTER CHECK is a unit for handling and inspecting self-adhesive labels on reels, combining rewinding, counting and label-presence checking.

Key functions

• Rewind labels clockwise or anti-clockwise on different mandrel/core diameters
• Count labels with incremental (up) or countdown (down) pieces counter
• Detect missing labels or spacing gaps and stop the process when required

Rewinding capacity
As a rewinder the unit accepts source rolls up to 300 mm diameter (face-in or face-out) with core diameters accommodated between 40 and 110 mm and rewinds onto rolls up to 300 mm diameter. Average rewinding speed is approximately 50 m/min (varies with roll diameter).

Control and detection
A photocell performs label counting and presence checks; when a missing label is detected the unit can signal or stop the line to allow repositioning. The control unit acquires label length by self-learning, avoiding manual setup. An ultrasonic detector is available for transparent labels.
