Overview
Wood chips, sawdust, wood shavings and other lumpy biomasses (e.g. biogas substrate) can be ground with the KAHL pan grinder mill. The machine is designed for biomasses with varying surface, consistency and moisture content and is particularly suited for processing wood products in pellet plants or other material preparation stages.

Processing and operation details
Wet grinding is suitable for G30 and G50 wood chips; the pan grinder mill tolerates higher moisture contents commonly found in wood and other biomasses. Feed material can be pre-ground using a conventional hammer mill when required.
