The MK mixing conditioner conditions feed mixtures or single ingredients by adding steam, water and liquids to achieve target temperature and moisture for downstream processing (e.g. pelleting). It enables defined retention time and throughput control to ensure uniform adsorption and absorption of additives and consistent product quality.
Design and materials
The shaft, casing and mixing tools are manufactured in stainless steel to provide long service life and gentle product handling. All product-contact components can be supplied in food-grade materials on request. The machine layout facilitates inspection and cleaning.
