Product description
The KAHL proportioning and conveying screw features a simple design and low maintenance requirements, ensuring high operational reliability.

Function
The screw is suitable for conveying bulk materials in horizontal or ascending directions. Standard lengths are available; special lengths can be supplied on request.

Design and construction

• Screw shaft: tubular shaft with welded-on solid flight (sheet steel).
• Bearings: mounted on anti-friction bearings with stuffing-box packing; maintenance-free intermediate bearings are used for greater lengths.
• Shaft connection: tubular shaft sections bolted together.
• Inlets and outlets: configurable according to requirements.
• Drive: driven by offset geared motors; alternative drive types available for restricted spaces.
• Conveying directions: horizontal or ascending conveying of bulk products.
• Standard lengths: 1500 mm, 2000 mm, 2500 mm, 3000 mm; special lengths on request.
