OverviewThe EAPR automation control system is designed for automatic control of KAHL flat die pellet mills. It consists of a local control cabinet with a graphic touch panel (TP) and a PLC with Step 7 CPU as central components. The system monitors and regulates all critical process parameters. Optionally, the DISTAMAT module provides continuous roller-gap adjustment and regulation to maintain constant pellet quality. EAPR and DISTAMAT enable optimal press operation with reduced operator intervention.
