Description

This product series is not available in US & Canada A drum pump is a portable pump designed to safely and easily transfer liquids from drums, barrels, or containers. These containers usually hold 55 gallons (200 liters) of fluid. Instead of tilting or pouring the heavy container, a drum pump lets you pump out the liquid cleanly. Drum pumps are used in many industries, including chemical processing, agriculture, food and beverage, and water treatment. They can handle: - various fluid viscosity - various types of fluids, such as mineral oils, acids (nitric acid, alkalis, hydrofluoric acid, chromic acid, etc.), detergents, and fertilizers. Engineered for Safety, Simplicity, and Strength ARO’s ePRO Series 100 is a next-generation electric drum pump designed for industrial fluid transfer. Engineered with precision and backed by ARO’s global supply chain, this portable pump system offers unmatched safety, simplicity, and modularity for chemical, industrial, and process applications. Why Choose the ePRO Series 100 Drum Pump? - Modular Design: Customize your pump system with interchangeable motors and pump tubes. Choose from 8 motor options and multiple tube materials and lengths (PP, PVDF, SS, Aluminum) to suit your application. - Universal Motor Compatibility: One motor fits all pump tubes—simplifying inventory and reducing costs. - Quick-Connect Bayonet Lock: Connect and disconnect in seconds with a robust ¼-turn coupling. - Sealed and Seal-less Options: Leak-free operation for safety and compliance, with ATEX-certified and sealed models launching soon. - Durable Construction: Reinforced immersion tubes and solid stainless steel pump heads ensure long service life and heat dissipation during extended use. - Low Maintenance, Low Cost: Designed to reduce downtime and operating costs with easy cleaning, no dead zones, and a stable drive shaft. Built for Demanding Environments The ePRO Series 100 drum pump is designed for tough jobs. It can handle strong chemicals and delicate fluids. This pump is safe for dangerous and industrial environments. It has certifications like CE and ISO 12100. It will also have ATEX and UL approvals soon. This makes it ready for use around the world. - Chemical & Petrochemical - Pharmaceuticals - Surface Technology - Water & Wastewater Treatment Benefits at a Glance - Fast setup and reduced downtime - Chemical resistance with PVDF and stainless steel options - Engineered and designed to be leak-free - Low total cost of ownership - Easy cleaning and maintenance - Safe for explosive environments (ATEX models coming soon) Competitive Advantage Unlike other portable pump systems, ARO’s ePRO Series 100 offers: - Simplified 3-part ordering system - Plug-and-play setup - More durable drive shaft and rigid pump tube - Global support and distribution - Competitive pricing and 2-year warranty - Enhanced efficiency and reduced physical effort compared to hand pumps How Does a Drum Pump Work? A drum pump consists of three main parts — the motor, pump tube, and discharge hose. The pump tube is inserted into the drum’s opening, reaching near the bottom. When the motor is turned on (either electric, air-driven, or manual), it drives an impeller or a rotor inside the pump tube. This motion creates suction, pulling the liquid up through the tube and out through the discharge spout or hose. Some drum pumps use a centrifugal mechanism for thin fluids. Others use a positive displacement design for thicker fluids. The result is a controlled, spill-free, and ergonomic way to empty drums safely and efficiently. - Product not available in US & Canada Technical Specifications / Features - Modular, portable electric drum pump system - Interchangeable motors (8 options) and pump tubes (PP, PVDF, SS, Aluminum) - Universal motor compatibility for all pump tubes - Quick-connect bayonet lock (¼-turn coupling) - Sealed and seal-less options (ATEX-certified and sealed models coming soon) - Reinforced immersion tubes and stainless steel pump heads - Low maintenance, easy cleaning, no dead zones - CE and ISO 12100 certified; ATEX and UL approvals pending - Applications: Chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, surface technology, water & wastewater treatment - 2-year warranty
