Description

Technology
The smart sensor system ASC AiSys® VibroTherm enables time-synchronous acquisition and analysis of accelerations and temperature. FIR and IIR filters as well as algorithms for extracting feature vectors are preconfigured. The triaxial accelerometer is based on MEMS technology with a capacitive operating principle, offering a configurable measuring range between ±2 g and ±40 g and allowing sampling rates of up to 4 kHz per sensitive direction. The integrated electronics enable the acquisition of accelerations with a resolution of 20 bits. The temperature is measured between -40 °C and +125 °C with a sampling rate of up to 50 Hz achieving a resolution of 15 bits.

Housing
The smart sensor system features a lightweight, reliable aluminum housing with protection class IP68, an integrated cable with configurable length and a standardized CAN bus interface including an already assembled DSUB connector at the cable end.

Applications
The ASC AiSys® VibroTherm monitors properties and behavior of components, vehicles or machines where critical vibrations and oil temperatures on motors, bearings or gears must be acquired and analyzed synchronously. The system is suited for real-time condition monitoring, predictive maintenance and use in digital twins by merging historical and current data to determine future development of critical parameters.
