OverviewThe VA/SO2/OH Kombo Glasschem stills combine a unit for alcoholic content distillation with a unit for volatile acidity (VA) and 2 or 4 independent heads for sulphur dioxide (SO2), depending on the Kombo version. Designed as 'all-in-one' instruments, they perform simultaneous distillations of multiple wine analysis parameters with features that ensure controlled airflow for SO2, automatic draining of exhausted wine for VA, high-efficiency electrical heating and elimination of gas leaks to the environment. Intended for wineries and independent laboratories conducting multiple, concurrent distillations.
Advantages- 'All-in-one' solution for volatile acidity, SO2 and alcohol determinations
- Two Kombo configurations to match laboratory throughput needs: Kombo 1+2+1 and Kombo 1+4+1
- Applicable to wines, musts, grape juice and spirits
- Approx. 25% faster VA distillation versus traditional distillers
- Automatic separation and draining of exhausted wine at end of VA distillation
- Multiple consecutive VA distillations possible without adding cold water
- 2 or 4 independent heads for total, free or bound SO2 determination
- Automatic stop at end of alcoholic distillation cycle
- High‑efficiency, energy‑saving electrical heating with constant heat input
- Ergonomic compact design for reduced bench footprint
- Simple installation and user operation
Technical features- VA distillation time: 12 min/sample
- Free SO2 distillation time: 10 min/sample
- Bound or total SO2 distillation time: 10 min/sample
- Alcohol distillation time: 12 min/sample
- Water consumption: 0.3–0.6 L/min
Available versions- Code no. 5022/VA1/OH1 - VA/SO2/OH Kombo 1+2+1 Glasschem distiller: 1 head for volatile acidity, 2 for sulphur, 1 for alcohol
