The laboratory autoclave is a piece of laboratory equipment for the simultaneous application of elevated heat and pressure to certain materials in order to sterilize or cure them. This is usually accomplished with superheated steam.
ApplicationsThe laboratory autoclave is used for the same applications as larger units (sterilization of medical and scientific material, curing composites, etc.), but on a smaller scale. Many are table-top or cabinet models.
