OverviewThe SOLIBA PRA rotary vane level detector with aluminium housing is designed to detect high or low levels of bulk products stored in silos, hoppers and containers.
Principle of operationInstalled on a hopper or silo, the SOLIBA PRA is driven by a motor. When the vane becomes covered by the bulk product, rotation stops and the output signal is cut, indicating the reached level. As the product level falls, the vane is freed, the signal is restored and the motor restarts to allow refilling.
AdaptabilityThe available vane types and process connections allow adaptation to different tanks and to products with varying bulk densities.
Usage tips- The SOLIBA PRA can be used as an intermediate level detector to monitor a specific level.
- For low-level detection, use an aluminium reinforcement flange to improve long-term durability.
