Description

Presentation
The PIEZO FOR piezometric probe, with a reduced diameter of 16 mm, is designed for small-diameter boreholes and confined spaces to provide continuous water level measurement. It detects sudden level variations and enables preventive alerting. The probe uses a piezoresistive sensing cell to measure hydrostatic pressure (proportional to water depth) and converts it to a conditioned 4-20 mA current loop signal.

Operating principle
The probe is immersed in water (borehole, well or tank); the piezoresistive sensor measures the pressure exerted by the water column above the probe and converts this pressure into an electrical signal proportional to water height. The output can be connected to a recorder or processing unit.

Measurement output: 4-20 mA current loop (4 mA = 0 m, 20 mA = full scale). Supply voltage: 6 to 38 V DC.
