Working principle of the loading ramp: The loader drives the ramp up to the truck by raising the edge of the trestle (by inserting the fork into the rigid swivel coupling). A hydraulic pump adjusts the height of the ramp to the desired level (900 mm to 1650 mm). The ramp comes with locking brakes and chains. The brakes are needed to prevent the ramp from moving. The chains are for extra securing of the ramp to the truck. The forklift then slides the mobile ramp inside the truck or container.
