OverviewThe 3P32 is a drill sharpening machine for drills from Ø3 to 32 mm, available refurbished, retrofitted or new. It is designed for workshop reconditioning of drill bits and similar cutting tools.
Key points- DIVERSITY: Sharpens HSS and carbide drills, structural-frame drills, deep-hole Gundrills, 2-flute and 3-flute end mills, reamers and step drills.
- PROFITABILITY: Example: at 50 HSS drills re-sharpened per day, the 3P32 can be cost-effective within a year (based on average resharpening cost).
- SIMPLICITY: Grinding positions (clearance, thinning, cutting angles) are set by mechanical stops or notches, eliminating vernier reading and reducing operator error.
- SPEED: Short sharpening cycles—approximately 2 minutes for a 20 mm diameter HSS drill.
- QUALITY: High concentricity from the head and collet assembly (biconical collets, 0.25 mm increments) ensures symmetric cutting edges; integrated coolant supports consistent grinding quality.
- ECONOMY: Low maintenance costs due to oversized wear parts; a single grinding wheel can perform relief and thinning operations, reducing inventory of wheels.
- SAFETY: Technology proven in hundreds of installations worldwide.
