Industrial Measurement & DAQ Reporting
Product overview
Banalytics acquires raw measurement data from sensors and DAQ hardware, hands it to your own measurement or analysis algorithm, such as particle sizing, calibration routines, or vibration analysis, over a locked interface, and automatically generates timestamped, structured measurement reports and dashboards, without exposing the underlying method.
Problem this solves
Research, DAQ, and measurement teams need automated, repeatable measurement reporting, not just raw data logging, across a fleet of instruments, but general-purpose measurement software is typically bundled to one vendor's hardware, or requires exposing a proprietary calibration or analysis method to a third-party platform to get the reporting layer.
How it works
Field devices (sensors, DAQ hardware) → Banalytics acquisition (calibration handling, buffering, timestamp sync) → your measurement or analysis module (over ZeroMQ IPC/TCP, shared memory, or in-process) → Banalytics orchestration (automatic report generation, dashboards, event history) → external consumers (SCADA, quality systems, historians).
Architecture example
Site A (Offshore Rig Test Bench): particle-measurement sensor + DAQ hardware, ZeroMQ IPC to a customer's particle-sizing algorithm, in-process.
Site B (Onshore Pipeline Station): flow/pressure sensors, Modbus RTU, customer's measurement module over ZeroMQ TCP.
All sites → Banalytics Dashboard · automatic timestamped measurement reports · Event History · MQTT to SCADA.
Who this is for
Research, DAQ, and measurement teams;
instrumentation engineers;
process and quality labs that need calibrated, automatically reported measurement data without exposing their own method.
Key features
Calibration handling integrated into the acquisition layer.
Automatic, timestamped measurement reporting after each acquisition or processing cycle. Particle, vibration, and acoustic-emission analysis pass-through to your own algorithm. Transport-tiered architecture (ZeroMQ IPC/TCP, shared memory, in-process).
Locked module-interface contract that keeps your measurement method private.
Event History as a queryable, timestamped historian of measurement runs.
Technical specifications
Supported protocols: ONVIF, RTSP, Modbus (RTU/TCP), MQTT, ZeroMQ, USB, OPC UA, I2C
Calibration: calibration parameters and timestamp handling are managed by Banalytics acquisition, independent of your measurement or analysis algorithm.
Reporting: automatic, timestamped, structured measurement reports generated after each acquisition or processing cycle.
Module interface: your measurement, calibration, or particle-sizing algorithm runs behind a locked interface; only structured results and health status are exposed.
Historian: Event History retains a queryable record of measurement runs and report generation. Scalability: transport tier selected per instrument count and data rate.
Way of work
Phase 0: Technical demo (free). Architecture walkthrough using your own measurement use case, no data required.
Phase 1: PoC (always free). Validate the module-interface contract and the automatic measurement-report format using mock or replayed measurement data; no real hardware, no device-specific engineering.
Phase 2: Funded Pilot. Connect real sensors and DAQ hardware and validate calibration handling and reporting on live measurements. Commercial once a scoped rollout-assistance engagement is purchased, or a custom device/3rd-party software integration is required.
Phase 3: Production. Harden and scale to additional instruments or sites; ongoing support agreed separately.
