Overview
These feedblocks extend battenfeld-cincinnati equipment for thermoforming sheet extrusion and are manufactured in-house. Based on decades of experience in designing and optimizing flow channels, the feedblocks deliver controlled melt and layer-thickness distribution. The design supports flexible production of mono- and multi-layer sheet on the same feedblock and is suitable for standard PP, PS and PET sheet and board extrusion as well as high-performance lines with high-speed extruders and Multi-Touch roll stacks. Flow channels are optimized by finite element calculations for consistent processing behavior.
