The UTHE-5005B / UTHE-2505B high-temperature extensometer is a kind of paste-type resistance strain gauge used in a high-temperature environment, which is an instrument for measuring the linear deformation between two points of components and objects, and is composed of an elastic element and a strain gauge pasted on it.
High Temperature Extensometer has the characteristics of high precision, high sensitivity, good stability and easy to use, in line with JJG762, GB 12160, ASTM E83, ISO 9513 and other standards for 0.5 accuracy requirements.
The UNITEDTEST high-temperature extensometer is equipped with two initial gauge spacing, which can be obtained by changing the position of the ceramic rod to adapt to different size specimens. It is mainly used with the universal material testing machine for high-temperature tensile test, and the tensile test at room temperature can also be used. Due to its extremely low initial force, the extensometer is able to test highly sensitive samples that allow only the lowest surface pressure.
