Constant speed pre-engineered booster package with up to 3 pumps Product Features Efficient Operation Easy to Select and Install Quick Set-up through “EZ” Start Serial Communication Economical Configuration What is it? It is a low cost pre-engineered constant speed pressure booster package for 2-3 constant speed horizontal mounted 1531 pumps. Standardized duplex and triplex configurations. Flows to 800 GPM and pressures to 150 PSIG. Copper headers up to 6 inches. How does it work? The system can be enabled to run automatically from the keypad, or remotely via “dry contact”, or serial communication. Depending upon the water demand, the pumps stage on and off to maintain constant pressure in the building. PRVs (pressure regulating valves) are installed at discharge of each pump to regulate the required pressure. Why use it? To boost pressure of incoming city water and of the available hot water to meet the flow and head requirements through the day and night. Typical application Typical applications are: Schools, commercial and residential buildings, tank fed system conversion, bottling plants, pharmaceuticals, plastic injection molding facilities rain water re-use, etc. Selection Process Selection of pumps, headers, and pressure reducing valves is done through ESP- PLUS.
