VDE ratchet cable cutter designed for cutting large copper and aluminium cables up to Ø 32 mm (240 mm²). It combines a ratchet cutting mechanism with VDE-approved two-layer safety insulation for safe work on live parts up to 1000 V. The tool is suitable for industrial electrical installation and maintenance tasks.

Area of application
Ratchet cable cutter for easier cutting of large cross-sections, for copper and aluminium cables up to Ø 32 mm (240 mm²); not suitable for armoured cables.

Technical description
Equipped with a safety two-layer dip-insulation (red outer / yellow inner). Damage to the outer red layer is immediately visible through the underlying yellow layer, allowing a quick visual safety check. VDE tools are tested piece-by-piece according to VDE EN 60900 / IEC 60900 and approved for working on live parts up to 1000 V. Insulations are REACH compliant and free of phthalates.
