Description

Ultrasonic Bench Top Parts Cleaner Our bench top ultrasonic parts cleaner and systems provide a precision clean part surface by cavitating cleaning solution causing a micro-scrubbing of the part surface. The common industry standard ultrasonic frequency is 40 kHz, but… Not ultrasonic cleaners are created equal… It’s a well known fact that piezoelectric ultrasonic tranducers can decay or fade overtime. This degradation can be detrimental to the stability of some critical cleaning processes, but many unknowingly buy the cheapest ultrasonic cleaner tank thinking there isn’t any difference in ultrasonic parts cleaning machines. This issue causes end users just replace their tanks every 2-5 years which can be a costly ongoing expense. The proper solution is to use ultrasonics tanks that have monitoring circuitry to measure this decay (& part loading) and adjust the ultrasonic power output accordingly. This more than doubles the expected life of the ultrasonics. The video above shows the tuning of a ultrasonic tank which utilizes this constant transducer monitoring to ensure parts see the same ultrasonic energy time in and time out. Frequency sweeping is used to help equalize the ultrasonic energy distribution throughout the depth of the tank, but it doesn’t help the degradation explained above. Common Applications Dental and jewelry industry Valve bodies and manifolds with small internals not accessible for cleaning by forced spray or mechanical removal Medical device stainless steel parts cleaning Aerospace parts cleaning
