The Biotage Selekt is a high performance automated flash system with two column channels for all flash applications employing columns from 5 g to 1.5 Kg. Two Column Channels Two column channels can be used to accommodate both normal phase and reversed phase columns, so you don't have to flush solvent lines in order to change separation mode for ultimate flexibility. Flow rates of 300 ml/min and 30 bar The Biotage Selekt features high flow rates and pressures allowing you to perform the full range of flash applications and more beside. Column sizes accommodated by the system range from 5 g to 1.5 Kg. Rack recognition as standard The Biotage Selekt features intelligent rack recognition as standard. New racks are recognized, and used racks are tracked so you'll never lose your samples. You can also start collection from a specific tube, to maximize the use of each rack. Spektra Software Option As an optional upgrade, the Biotage Selekt can have the Spektra software enabled, giving full lamda-all spectral data collection for the ultimate in detection. The upgrade also features baseline correction which negates the effects of solvent compositional changes by real-data baseline subtraction, and wavelength focusing to maximize the response from samples with low absorption. Spektra pushes the envelope on flash detection and fraction collection. Extended collection bed As an optional extra, the Biotage Selekt can be fitted with an extended collection bed for those occasions when a large number of fractions need collecting.
