BLANKE FLOOREX is a new type of expansion joint with laterally extending bonding lugs and continuous matt finish. Absorbs compressive, tensile and shear stresses. BLANKE FLOOREX supporting side ribs are made of hard plastic. The upper and lower expansion zones of BLANKE FLOOREX are made of soft, highly flexible plastic. Apply the setting material according to the manufacturers instructions. Press the setting leg into the setting material making sure there is full coverage within the perforations and along the edge of the leg. The surface expansion joint should be placed directly on top of the joint in the substrate. The Blanke Heavy Duty Expansion Joint is a maintanance free expan-sion profile for high mechanical stressed tile and natural stone floors. The system offers edge protection for floors used with floor-borne ve-hicles. The triangle punched fixing legs, made of brass, stainless steel or aluminium are joined with a special movement silicone. The edge of the flooring is protected due to the special construction of the expansion joint. It also prevents transmission of footfall and sounds from other objects. Aplication area Blanke Heavy Duty Expansion Joints are made for particularly highly stressed floors as for warehouses, production floors, shopping centres and underground garages or for floors that are cleaned in interior or exterior with machines.
