Made of hard and soft plastic the BLANKE SCREED MOVEMENT JOINTS are always used where tiles, bricks, natural stone or man-made stone slabs are laid in a bed of mortar. Compressive load stresses are absorbed, while the hard plastic edges protect against flaking. The profiles are also suitable for retrospective refurbishment of old buildings where they can be hammered into the existing screed when it is cut open. Insert the V-Screed Expansion Joint into the mudbed or saw specified. The size of the joint inserted should equal the thickness of the mudbed. For sawcut insertions, fill any gaps with a flexible grout.
