Automatic asphalt distributor BD 2000

Overview
The BD 2000 features a 2000 gallon asphalt tank system suitable for various types of emulsion and liquid asphalt binder. In-tank baffles help to control the liquid from shifting during transport. The tank is protected by an aluminum sheet cover and has 4 inch thick, high-density insulation to efficiently maintain oil temperature. A bolt-on 17.5 inch diameter cover provides convenient access to the back of the tank and the tank is surrounded by a guard rail for increased safety.

Fields of Application
Asphalt distributors spray a binding layer on top of existing asphalt or Portland cement prior to an overlay of a new pavement layer.
