It can work with BLDC motors with or without Hall sensors. This driver is designed to be integrated into the customer's electronic board. It is also compatible with Boreasa evaluation board. Features: •Set value input through PWM or external analogue voltage (0 ... +3.3 V) •Parameters can be set through 4 external digital inputs (DigIN) •Dual control loop: Speed and Current •The output stage can be enabled or disabled •Maximum output peak current limit adjustable up to 10 A •Motor speed can be monitored with the «FG» output •Status indication via «Ready» output •Motor blocked protection (current limit for blocked motor) •Standardized connector strip, pitch 2.54 mm and 2 mm •Configurable fix current or fix torque mode is optional •If the driver works in 4-quadrant mode, there needs to be a circuit in place to consume the brake energy. The driver works in Current Loop (default) or Speed Loop (optional) control mode. All control parameters are built in the driver software. Sufficient start up current is needed from the power supply when the motor (blower) ramps up. The ramp up time will be extended if the power supply can’t provide enough current. For developments Boreasa offers a comprehensive Interface/Evaluation Board: the D30/5/4Q-M2 board ( not compatible with Boreasa D50/5/4Q-M2 board when working in 4-quadrant mode).
