Optical sensor RCO

The RCO sensor is an electro-optical sensor able to measure road conditions and temperature. Easily installed on a pole or frame, it does not require any work on the roadway. The RCO sensor monitors the pavement condition and temperature in real time and detects the appearance of water or snow as well as the formation of ice. The RCO sensor can be connected within a Boschung local network or directly polled by the BORRMA-web software. The data delivered by the RCO sensor is displayed on the BORRMA-web like a standard RWIS (Road Weather Information System).
