Ultrasonic Wind speed and direction sensor The WG (wind speed) and WR (wind direction) sensor is designed to measure horizontal wind speed and direction. This ultrasonic anemometer uses a proven technology to provide wind speed and direction data over one RS485 serial output. A status code is transmitted together with the measurement to confirm correct operation. With its robust, corrosion-free polycarbonate housing, this small, lightweight wind sensor is recommended for use in harsh environmental conditions.
