Overview

VTL C is BOST's family of vertical lathes designed for heavy-duty, high-precision turning. The series is available in multiple sizes and configurations to accommodate large diameters, high table loads and integrated milling/ram functions.

Main configurable options and equipment

  • Table diameter / maximum load / table speed / turning power: multiple selectable combinations (examples: 1,250 mm / 12,000 kg / 440 min-1 / 74 kW; 2,000 mm / 25,000 kg / 275 min-1 / 74 kW; up to 6,000 mm / 150,000 kg / 75–95 min-1 / up to 128 kW).
  • Maximum turning diameter options: from 1,600 mm up to 8,500 mm (multiple preset steps).
  • Turning height options: ranges from 1,600 mm up to 6,000 mm (selectable).
  • Y axis / table longitudinal movement: available as configurable (YES / NO).
