Overview
Configure RTU32 systems by selecting CPU, power supply and I/O modules. Communication interfaces include 2 x Ethernet and USB; CPU options scale by software across performance ranges. The configurator supports incremental licensing: add CPU speed, drivers, RAM or I/Os later as needed.

RTU32N Overview
RTU32N available with or without embedded I/Os. Communication interfaces: 2 x Ethernet, 4 x COM ports and 2 x USB. Integrated I/Os expandable via Brodersen LocalBus. Includes power supply monitoring on applicable variants.

Redundancy variants

• R1 — Redundant CPUs with identical redundant I/Os; CPUs connected using CM02A device and cables.
• R2 — Redundant CPUs with shared I/Os; CPUs placed adjacent and connected via RL02A (REDLINK). Requires a CPU variant with a USB connector.
• R3 — Redundant CPUs with shared I/Os located between the CPUs; connection via CM02A device and cables.

Performance options and protocols
Optional items (drivers, CPU speed, RAM, I/Os) are enabled by RTU license. Select minimum options now and acquire additional licenses later. Note: some feature options are not license-upgradable.

I/O selection and backplane
Integrated I/Os and expansion via Brodersen LocalBus (LB2). Configurator performs LB2 I/O bus power calculation and block sizing during selection.

Bill of materials and file export
Configurator generates a Bill of Materials (BOM) that can be saved or exported in CSV (comma or semicolon separated). Saved BOMs can be reloaded for repeat configurations.
