Drawn arc stud welding with the MD threaded stud type. These threaded bolts are available in the following materials: steel (4.8 copper-plated), stainless steel (A2-50). Bolts with a practically continuous partial thread of type MD are standard according to DIN EN ISO 13918:2018 and can be used as bolts with aluminum soldering with M6-20 together with ceramic rings of type MF or under inert gas without aluminum soldering (max. up to M12). Bolts and ceramic rings are always sent as a matching unit. They are suitable for manual or fully automatic stud welding. The dimensions are in the table below.
