Description

The ST-AC Pro’ AC high frequency portable AC spark tester provides a quick and effective means of inspecting thicker coatings and linings. It is particularly useful for checking butt-welded and overlap joints on plastic fabrications. The ST-AC Pro’ can detect flaws and defects in non-conductive membranes up to 30mm in thickness and is extensively used in the petrochemical, pipeline construction, plastic and rubber manufacturing industries. Fully CE compliant, the ST-AC Pro’ is supplied with a 150mm flexible probe which is suitable for most uses. Insulated extension rods, electrodes and accessories are available for specific applications. To ensure stability of the output voltage, the maximum recommended electrode size is 150mm for all high frequency equipment. A comprehensive kit with accessories is also available – see T7P.
