Automatic Assembly Machine for Ultrasonic Nonwoven and Technical Webs Splicing | CalemardThe
Calemard® automatic assembly machine is designed for the ultrasonic joining of nonwoven materials and technical webs requiring strong, clean and reliable splices. Combining
our sister brand Decoup+ expertise in ultrasonic welding with
our know-how in web handling and converting equipment, this customized solution produces high-quality splices without glue, adhesive tape, staples or sewing thread.
Available as a
stand-alone off-line workstation or as an
in-line integrated module, the machine adapts to existing production lines and customer-specific manufacturing processes.
Ultrasonic splicing creates
strong, nearly invisible joints that can remain in the finished product while maintaining production efficiency and minimizing material waste.
OUR SPLICING TECHNOLOGIESButt-to-butt splicingThe two web ends are precisely aligned and ultrasonically bonded edge-to-edge. This process produces an almost invisible splice while preserving material thickness and ensuring excellent downstream processability.
Overlap splicingThe two material ends overlap before ultrasonic bonding, providing maximum mechanical strength. This solution is particularly suitable for demanding applications requiring highly resistant joints.
