DescriptionDesigned by Carr Lane Manufacturing in collaboration with Martin Trunnion Tables, the Single-Sided Quick-Change Trunnion Table converts a standard 3-axis vertical machining center into a 3+1 or 3+2 multi-side machining system. The fixture platform increases spindle utilization and reduces handling by enabling fast fixture exchange while maintaining high precision. Supplied with one sub-plate and equipped with Headless Carr Lock® Clamps, the system supports offline loading/unloading and is compatible with tool-probe M-code routines for micron-level registration.
Features- Converts a standard 3-axis VMC to 3+1 or 3+2 capability for multi-side prismatic machining
- Quick-change sub-plate system enables fixture exchange in under one minute
- Includes Headless Carr Lock® Clamps for fast, repeatable clamping
- Precision-machined from Class 35 cast iron for vibration damping and thermal stability
- Table flatness and squareness held within 0.001 in (0.025 mm)
- Outboard support alignment within 0.0002 in (0.005 mm) of the rotary centerline
