Description

The Planigraph™ line offers Premium Grade and Industrial Grade graphite sheets, differentiated by graphite purity and the presence of corrosion and oxidation inhibitors. Planigraph™ includes the following models: LG without insert LGR with smooth single insert LGRF with single or multiple tanged insert LGRHDI with multiple smooth insert The maximum allowable load on expanded graphite gaskets depends on the type and number of metallic inserts and is closely related to the actual sealing surface of the gasket. It is always advisable to check the ratio between [De-Di], where De and Di refer to the diameters of the gasket parts actually engaged by flange compression, and the thickness of the gasket. The ratio must be at least 4. On WN RF line flanges, the gaskets can be used up to the 300 psi pressure class. Please refer to the technical data sheets for the application limits of the Planigraph™ product line. The expanded mineral graphite of LGRF Planigraph™ complies with the latest update of EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS). This type of graphite gasket ensures reliable and long-lasting sealing, making it an ideal option for all industrial applications, from the simplest to the most demanding.
