Overview
The CHP-100G extends the limits of portable milling bevelling. Developed for demanding industrial applications, it produces large bevels with precision, stability and a uniform machined finish even when removing particularly large volumes of material. It is intended for situations where conventional bevelling machines reach their limits: thick plates, wide bevels and demanding weld preparations where machining quality and repeatability are essential.

The CHP-100G combines CEVISA’s experience in automatic bevelling with a robust construction. The machine travels along the plate, performing the machining in a controlled manner, reducing the need to handle heavy workpieces and avoiding the use of other production equipment for edge preparation. The prototype was tested under real production conditions at a shipyard on thick aluminium plates and steep bevel angles; bevels up to 100 mm wide were achieved in two passes.
