Overview
Fire blanket designed to spatially and temporarily limit fire spread for electric vehicles and traction batteries; prevents propagation of flames, smoke and toxic gases.

Use
Designed for emergency and safety response teams, the fire blanket can be deployed in multiple environments to contain vehicle fires and protect adjacent areas:

• Car parks and multi-storey parking facilities.
• Garages and repair workshops.
• Breakdown and recovery vehicles.
• Car ferries and vehicle decks on ships.
• Airports (parking, terminals, hangars).
• Petrol stations and EV charging stations.
• Automotive service centres and maintenance areas.

Features

• Suitable for small to large traction battery powers.
• Allowable temperatures: up to 1000°C (2-hour test per DIN SPEC 91489:2024-11); short-time peaks up to 1300°C.
• Construction: high-grade fibreglass fabric with fire-retardant polymer coating (silicone rubber) on both sides for high temperature resistance.
• Reusable following the Instructions for Use; repeated test at 1000°C per DIN SPEC 91489:2024-11.
• Rinse before reuse to support sustainable firefighting practice.
• Easy deployment: colored loops for quick identification and handling.
• Size adaptability: available in multiple sizes to cover different battery and vehicle dimensions.
• Protects surrounding areas to limit collateral damage during an incident.
• Fire classification A2-s1, d0 (EN 13501-1:2018).
• Increased cut protection (EN ISO 13997:2023).
• Limits risk of electric shock when used unintentionally on live equipment; blanket material tested per EN 1869 §5.4 with increased test current to 1500 V DC — material insulation resistance > 1 MΩ at any point.
• Compliant with REACH and RoHS requirements; PFAS-free.
