Fixture VCR-1

The in-feed fixture is designed for in-feeding a large number of trunk and in-house optical cables in telecommunication cross-connect systems. The variations of VCR design allow carrying out module-specific distribution of optical fibers both as trunk and in-house optical fiber cables of any designs and also providing scopes for strengthening power components of optical fiber cables i.e. armour, cable central member and reinforcement filaments. There is a scope for split grounding of armour and cable central member for cables with metallic elements. Optical fibers are outcoming from VCR in protective corrugated pipes, which allow to increase the quality of installation and maintenance of cross-connect systems of larger capacities. The design of VCR carrier elements ensures to expand the cross-connect system by in-feeding additional cables.
