Description
SL 608 is a SiAlON cutting material for rough turning in high performance applications. It is extra tough, making it ideal for larger allowance variations and high chip cross sections. The composition of the cutting material allows high performance machining of alloyed cast iron grades as well as cutting of “fresh cast” workpieces.

f = 0.35 – 1.0 mm
ap = 3.0 – 6.0 mm
