Description

The Memory Control Unit (MCU) is designed to operate as a battery condition tester and universal memory tool programming and downloading interface. This interfaces any USB equipped PC running Win XP/7/8/10 with the ABC-X series Seiavn Memory sections (MPL) used for Production Logging or Casing Inspection. The MCU can be powered from the mains via a power supply unit, but is designed to run from the battery about to be used for a logging operation. By using the logging battery the MCU will check for battery passivation and automatically depassivate the battery if required and, during testing in monitor mode, allows tool current and battery voltage to be measured. This provides further data as to battery condition before the logging operation. Rugged construction Connects to any USB equipped PC running Win XP/7/8/10. Highly portable Logging battery status & conditioning Toolstring power monitoring Battery depassivation indicator Battery voltage low/ OK indicator Tool power & PC control indicators MCU Temperature(max) 50°C Dimension 40mm (H) x 227mm (W) x 156mm (D).
