Measuring the conductivity of drilling fluid is mainly to monitor the conductivity change of drilling fluid, judge whether there is formation fluid entering according to the change trend, and judge the property of formation fluid immersed in drilling fluid. Conductivity sensor is mainly used to measure the conductivity value of liquid and mud. The conductivity sensor is characterized by reading the conductivity value directly from the display screen and having 4 ~ 20mA analog signal output. Two – wire power supply, easy to operate. This product can be used in explosion – proof situation. The sensor consists of a conductivity probe and a conductivity converter. The conductivity probe consists of two parallel magnetic coils, which are composed of primary and secondary coils. The outer casing is made of high temperature resistant, acid and alkali resistant and wear resistant insulation. The primary coil is fed with a sinusoidal excitation signal of constant amplitude and frequency. As the conductivity of the drilling fluid changes, the induced signal of the secondary coil also changes accordingly. The conductivity converter performs amplification and filtering on the induced signal to obtain a standard output, thereby completing the measurement of the conductivity of the drilling fluid. All sensors either are EX type or are intrinsically safe. Zone barriers are installed in the Unit. Using well-known brand products at home and abroad, the sensors of mud logging unit have the advantage of technical and performance indicators.
