Some inserts are designed to be directly laminated into composite tooling and some are specifically for use in metal tooling. 3/8” BSP Insert (XA-0002) Machined steel 3/8” BSP Vent Insert to be laminated into composite RTM moulds. Can be used with XA-0003 to accept 6mm pipe or as mould flange vacuum connection (see XA-0304). Flange Vacuum Fitting with GEKA Quick Connector (XA-0304) Insert for flange vacuum connection. To accept vacuum GEKA connection. To be laminated into composite moulds. Other connections/fittings to suit this insert are available on request Mould Vent Liner (XA-0003) Liner used in conjunction with 3/8” BSP Vent insert to reduce vent diameter, for use with 6mm Delrin pipe. 20mm Insert Blank– Includes 2 x O rings (XA-0005) Blank Delrin fitting for use with 20mm Mould Insert XA-0014. Supplied with 3/8” BSP female port, but no through hole. This can be drilled by customer to suit requirements or used as blanking plug. 20mm Mould Insert (XA-0014) Insert to accept vacuum catch pot or injection port pipe insert. Designed to be laminated into composite moulds. Injection Valve Threaded Mould Insert– Include 1 x O Ring (XA-1501) Threaded insert to accept injection valve; will also accept 20mm Insert Blank (XA-0005), or 6/10mm pipe inserts (XA-0311 & XA-0312) Designed to be laminated into composite mould Injection Valve Threaded Mould Insert (for use in machined metal mould) (XA-1519) Threaded Insert to accept injection valve; will also accept 20mm Insert Blank (XA-0005), or 6/10mm Pipe insert (XA-0311 & XA-0312) To be bolted into machined metal mould
