Description

Key message
Autonomous control of the DUT heater to minimize energy consumption

Overview
The Ovenless Burn‑In & HTOL solution from Cosmic is a rack‑based, eco‑efficient alternative to traditional burn‑in ovens. Designed for high‑density device testing, the platform pairs a Burn‑In System (BIS) with racks featuring 24 internal slots (each slot can host up to 120 devices) to enable fully automated, large‑scale burn‑in and HTOL cycles while providing independent per‑DUT thermal control.

Reasons Why
  • Only ovenless Burn‑In approach available on the market
  • Lower energy consumption and reduced cooling needs compared to traditional ovens
  • Positive ESG impact through reduced power, footprint and cooling requirements
  • Faster thermal ramp‑up and cool‑down with precise per‑DUT temperature regulation
  • Fully automated and SECS‑GEM / Industry 4.0 ready for production integration

Features / Configurations
  • 60 sites double Vcore
  • 80 sites single Vcore
  • 120 sites single Vcore

Product Presentation — main advantages
The system is a rack‑based platform composed of a Burn‑In System (BIS) and racks with internal slots for high throughput. It enables fully automated, large‑scale burn‑in and HTOL cycles while delivering per‑DUT thermal control, improved temperature uniformity, reduced facility footprint and lower cooling and energy requirements. The platform is cleanroom‑ready and suitable for direct integration into production lines across automotive, medical, MEMS, consumer electronics, aerospace & defence, industrial and power semiconductor markets.
