Overview
The portable Hydra-Test HT-2000 unit enables automatic transmission rebuild specialists to verify the hydraulic integrity of individual gearbox components on a bench test rig without vehicle installation.

Functionality
With a simple connection the system diagnoses clutch and band operation and reproduces hydraulic conditions of the transmission for targeted inspection. Bench testing reduces time spent on unnecessary removal and refitting of the gearbox.

Leak identification method
A dedicated test plate is attached to the transmission interface. Using the integrated flow meter, the operator measures leakage at piston or servo seals and quantifies flow to determine a pass/fail condition.

Test plates
More than 80 dedicated test plates are available to match a wide range of transmission models; additional plates are under development to expand compatibility.
