Cubic ZS-ST-10 is a two-wire zirconia oxygen sensor designed using HTCC technology and utilizes zirconia as its sensing element to detect oxygen concentration in motorcycle exhaust systems.
The ZS-ST-10 measures oxygen concentration by detecting the potential difference generated by the oxygen ion concentration difference between exhaust gas and reference air. It features a fast response of less than 100 milliseconds, enabling precise air-fuel ratio control throughout the entire operating range. Additionally, it transfers real-time exhaust oxygen data to the engine controller, enabling precise combustion control that regulates the air-fuel ratio to the ideal 14.7:1 stoichiometric value.
With a Thermal Shock Protection (TSP) coated zirconia element, the ZS-ST-10 demonstrates enhanced thermal cycling durability and resistance to condensation for continuous operation in 850°C exhaust environments. Its planar structure offers a compact size, making it easy to install.
Manufactured in Cubic's own facilities under an automotive-grade quality management system, the ZS-ST-10 can be widely used in motorcycle manufacturing and aftermarket applications.
