Overview
The Pathfinder® AWV is an air-cooled screw compressor chiller designed for high-efficiency commercial and industrial cooling applications. Available in capacities from 100 to 565 tons, the unit incorporates Variable Volume Ratio (VVR®) compressor technology, integrated VFD, and fully-variable-speed ECM fans to deliver high part-load performance and flexible system integration.

Factory-Installed Pumps
Optional factory-installed pump packages are available for packaged and free-cooling models. These pump packages are powered and enabled by the chiller, removing the need to separately size, source, and install system pumps and accelerating site commissioning.

Integrated "Closed-Loop Free-Cooling" Water-side Economizer
The integrated water-side economizer uses a fluid-to-air heat exchanger in series with the chiller condenser airflow to dissipate heat outdoors without vapor-compression when ambient conditions permit. The closed-loop design can provide glycol-free solutions for data centers, hospitals, indoor agriculture, and manufacturing by employing an intermediate heat exchanger to minimize contamination risk beyond the unit.

Polypropylene Header Pipes
Pathfinder® polypropylene header piping reduces pressure drop and corrosion risk, offers UV protection for extended service life, simplifies access for maintenance, and decreases structural load compared with steel headers.
