PCP volumetric pumps represent the state of the art in the world of micro-dispensing. The pumps are driven by a geared motor with encoder and enable volumetric distribution in beads, droplets or filling of a determined volume with the highest precision, without being affected by the pressure of the inlet fluid, the viscosity and temperature of the material etc. The motor, driven in one direction, delivers the fluid and, if controlled in the other direction, sucks in the fluid, preventing dripping and stabilizing the pressure on the nozzle. OPERATING PRINCIPLE In the coupling, a cavity is generated between the rotor and stator, and as the motor rotates, the cavity is moved forward, creating vacuum in the inlet area and pressure in the outlet area. By controlling the rotation of the motor, perfect repeatability of the dispensing process is achieved.
