Effective, reliable and durable oil containment boom RO-BOOM is internationally acknowledged as one of the most effective, reliable and durable oil containment booms available today. RO-BOOM has earned this reputation in many spills and deployments. More than 1,000,000m have been supplied to oil companies, ports, terminals and oil spill bases. RO-BOOM is available in section lengths of up to 250m and nine sizes from 0.6 to 3.2m overall. It can be delivered with stainless steel hinge or ASTM connectors. Advances in the inflation process have lead to deployment times of less than 10 minutes for 200m with a trained crew. Strong Durability and Easy Maintenance RO-BOOM lies completely flat when deflated allowing easy cleaning, storage, recovery and maintenance. Individual air chambers provide high integrity - even if one air chamber is deflated the freeboard is maintained by adjacent air chambers. RO-BOOM is fitted with stainless steel fittings and hot galvanized ballast/tension chain, secured with reinforced chain attachment points. Internal fibre glass rods with stainless steel brackets ensure optimum skirt profile under tow. RO-BOOM is operated worldwide by state and industry response organizations. On average 200 meters can be deployed in under 15 minutes using our high capacity air blowers.
